*Fees Policy Revised May, 2011
There are three terms in a year. Fees are indicative only, and may change at the school discretion. All fees listed are in Taka. Fees are payable before a student joins the school and then prior to the start of each term. All fees are subject to 4.5% VAT where applicable. No cash payment of fees is acceptable.
All fees except security deposit are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Tuition Fees cover:
Cost of tuition
Basic classroom stationary and materials
Usages of the facilities
Language (French or Bengali)
Lab Fee where applicable

Branch: Banani Branch, Dhaka.
Please use the school fee book for depositing fees into the Bank Account. A copy of the deposit slip must be submitted to the school Accounts Department, otherwise it is considered that payment has not been made. Deposit book can be purchased from the front Office.
Tuition Fee: Tuition Fees are Non- Refundable and Non -Transferable.
Assessment fee: Payable prior to the assessment.
Admission Fee: Once only payment on enrolment before the student joins the school.
Annual Fee: Payable once a year, at the beginning of every school year or on enrolment.
Library Fee: Payable once a year, at the beginning of every school year or on enrolment.
ESL Fee (Taka 20,000.00 10weeks/per term): Only applicable to students who need ESL support. Need and duration of ESL support will be determined base on the student’s assessment.
Special Needs Support Fee (Taka 20,000.00 per term): Only applicable to students who need special support. CIS only be able to provide SOME partial Special Education Support – in order to allow the child to remain at CIS. Special support is available for students up to Junior Elementary. Needs are met wherever possible within the classroom, but extra, short-term support and/or withdrawal may also be used to meet a child’s needs. Special Needs staff also liaise with specialists within the community as appropriate. If over a period of time, needs emerge which are beyond the resources that the school can provide, a more appropriate educational setting will be recommended.
Refundable Deposit: (Payable at the time of admission or before the student joins the School)
Early childhood 1 – Kindergarten: Tk. 10,000.00
Grade 1 – Grade 8 : Tk. 20,000.00
*Refundable Deposit Policy:
This deposit will be refunded provided that one month written notice of withdrawal (prior to the last date of attendance) of the student is given. Failure to give this notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Transportation Fee (Non-Refundable):
Only applicable if the student is availing the School Transport. CIS provides air-conditioned bus service to and from school, where feasible. Buses are also provided for field trips. Transport fee is charged per term for both pick up and drop off. If feasible one way bus service is provided at a cost of 75% of the charges stated below.

UTTARA : TK. 25,000.00 per term
Tk.200.00 per day Late Fee will be charged for payments made after the last due date (Please refer to the school academic calendar for last due dates).
Non-payment of Tuition Fees:
Student/(s) shall not be permitted to continue school, if the tuition fee is overdue for more than two weeks and parents have not made any satisfactory arrangements with the school administration for settlement of the overdue amount. Immediately thereafter, the school shall terminate the enrollment of the student.
In order to rejoin the school; all outstanding dues need to be cleared including late charges, provide an appropriate explanation, and then reapply for admission. The school management reserves the rights to allow or reject such application.
Long Absence or Vacation:
If a student is absent from the school for a long vacation (month/s or term/s), would like to rejoin the school again later, needs to clear the fees in full in order to keep the seat. Otherwise, child has to be re-admitted as a new student whereby all charges of a new admission are applied. This arrangement must be made in written prior to the planned vacation/long absence in order to avoid inconvenience.
The school management reserves the rights to change and/ or adjust present admission policy and fee structure, as and when, it may deem necessary.
Please submit the following documents along with the application form:
· Application Form (CIS) duly completed
· Past two years school report where applicable
· Birth certificate and/or photocopies of passport
· Health Form (CIS) duly completed by a doctor (GP)
· Recent photographs of the student (5 passport size and 2 stamp size)
· Recent photographs of both parents (2 passport size of each parents)
· Recent photographs of each person authorized to pick up the child (At most three persons including parents)
