Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, Teachers, and Visitors:

This is the official website for our Canadian International School located here in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

During my Ontario Canada career, I have had the privilege of being in Education for 31 years and spending the last 16 years as a school principal. The students here at CIS Dhaka are knowledgeable, welcoming, kind, courteous, efficient and always willing to learn their new and advancing skills and concepts each day!

Our curriculum at the Early Years and Elementary School is an extensive and rigorous one based on the Curriculum from the Ministry of Education from the Province of Ontario, Canada. Our Grade 9 High School credit courses are being offered from the Ministry of Education from the Province of Manitoba, Canada.

In addition to the basic skills, we strive to provide many opportunities for our students to explore and to problem solve situations relevant to their own daily lives and their stages of development.

As of this school year, we are extremely excited and pleased that we have expanded to Grade 9 in August of 2012 and we are following the Curriculum from the Province of Manitoba, Canada. We will be adding a new High School Grade each year until we reach Grade 12.

The Canadian International School is now in its 8th year of operation. So we are about to take another giant leap always keeping in mind our VISION, MISSION, GOALS and mandates.
